To loose weight we have to cut down on all unhealthy foods that we take and also exercise.
Researches have it that once we start eating healthy, a greater percentage of the work has been done compared to only exercising and at the same time still eating unhealthy foods.
There are a lot of things involved in loosing weight but we will limit it to the kitchen appliances for the purpose of this post .
We always preach that we eat the following healthy foods
- Lots of vegetables and fruits
- More protein
- Less carbohydrates
- Cut down on fried foods and cholesterol laden foods
- Lots of water
- Reduce the amount of refined foods we take.
- Pressure cooker; Like we said that you should take more proteins if you are really in for loosing weight. Sources of proteins are enormous like milk, beans, eggs, meat , fish etc. The pressure cooker will be used to cook the beans and other legumes. In 20 - 30 mins the beans will done depending on the species unlike when you use your cooking pot on a stove or gas cooker which will take you forever to get done.
- Food processor ; We talked about vegetables as part of the list of foods to include in our healthy diet. Chopping vegetables like cabbage, carrots, etc could be tiring sometimes. You have to get the chopping board, the knife and then start chopping them one after the other. But with the food processor all you need is power and your finger and the vegetables are ready in few seconds to minutes.
- Grill; Grilling is better than frying. To get a healthier food you need to grill your food and ditch the frying method.
- Smoothie maker /Blender ; There are different types of smoothie maker for making smoothies. Smoothies are healthier than the concentrated juices in the market. Please you can always use your blender to make the smoothie.
- Citrus juicer ;This kitchen appliance will just deliver that fresh orange juice in just few minutes. This will help you cut down on the juiceso that have a lot of refined sugar.
When all these kitchen appliances are in place you will be a step closer to achieving that weight loss. The rate at which convenience foods are consumed will also be reduced. Please always work within your budget when purchasing these items
